The research deals with a topic “Artistic Image of Metaphor and Analogiy in the Poem of Ibn-e-Khalof”. The poet relies on pictorial methods, based on imagination in expression, thus opening up opportunities for him to enter the world of poetics, which guarantees his creativity immortality thanks to the distinction he obtained by breaking the norm, and not limiting himself to what his predecessors left, and metaphor and simile are among those among those methods. The Poetic image is the mainstay used by the creator to reach the truth of the poetic experience and then to deliver it to the receiver, and It is employed by the poet when he wants to express his authentic and true feelings that is reflected in line with his psychological condition, It is also taken as a means to translate his feelings and attitudes with a particular artistic style. And for that the poetic image is considered as an effective tool to enrich the literary work and it contributes to the expression of meanings by metaphorical terms, that generate pleasure, and magnificence for its ability to transform the rigid and the silent image to the live and released one, and it allows the induction of the reader and permits to the mind the joy of detecting the significance or creating it as perceived by the reader or what could have been thought from near and far meanings in the poet’s mind .
