Abstract

Islam has made it obligatory for a woman to breastfeed her child for two whole years because this period is essential for the child's health in every way. Islam has also allowed a woman other than the mother to breastfeed the child who gets the status of a foster mother and the status of a foster mother is also equal to a real mother. If the child is deprived of both mother and father, it is the responsibility of his heirs to provide milk for him.In Islam, there is proof of the tahriim of feeding milk that makes meat and bones strong. This reason is also found in the milk bank.According to Ahnaf, there is proof of the tahriim by one sip, and by Shuafi's, by five sips.In Islamic countries, the custom of breastfeeding exists, so there is no need for a milk bank.Medical science has also provided suitable substitutes in case of unavailability of mother's milk or case it is not suitable for health, which are both religiously permissible and easily available. After coming out of the human body, milk starts to spoil due to bacteria, which causes its nutrients to be lost. Apart from this, there is a danger of milk trading among the women of socially poor families, which on the one hand is against the dignity of humanity. On the other hand, the children of these mothers themselves will be deprived of basic needs like milk. Even in Western countries, doctors, especially those associated with the milk bank industry or the treatment of children, are currently giving priority to Wet Nursing over the preserved milk of the milk bank, which is the second form of razaa'at common in Islamic countries. it is easy to account for the tahriim-e-nikah and it has been custom in Islamic countries for centuries. The establishment and maintenance of these banks require a huge investment, which, although it has no value compared to human life, most Islamic countries can use the method of razaa'at without spending this capital.Above all, our religious traditions and beliefs do not allow any steps towards violating the sanctity of foster relationships even when there are alternative solutions. The Shariah texts are clear about this, it is not recommended or good to transgress the limits of Allah in any case. The Ahnaf, Shuafi'is, Hanbali’s, and Malikiyyah all agree on the prohibition of razaa'at. The door of discord and chaos in the Muslim Ummah cannot be opened without reason. We don't need to follow the people of the West in everything, but it is also necessary to take into account our own culture, religion, and belief. It is not advisable to encroach on the limits of Allah in the name of innovation. It is better to promote breastfeeding as much as possible and Muslims in the West should create unity within themselves and manage the Nurses Law for their children.
